How to create an Instagram Fundraiser for IAPMD
You can raise money for IAPMD directly on Instagram, seamlessly linking your fundraiser with your profile page, posts, stories, and live streams. It’s easy! Here’s how:
Create a post.
To create a fundraiser, all you have to do is create a post like normal with just a few extra steps. The image and caption you set will be featured on your fundraiser cover page, but you can go back and change these at any time. Be creative! Share your story and why you are raising funds. How has IAPMD made an impact on your life?
From the caption page, click ‘Add Fundraiser.’
Search ‘iapmdglobal’ to select your nonprofit. You can then change the name of your fundraiser (i.e. Mary’s 100 Mile Bike Ride for IAPMD), set a goal amount, and select your currency.
You did it!
Your fundraiser will go live as a post to your feed and will also be linked under your bio on your profile page.
You can now share your fundraiser in posts, on your stories, and when you go Live.
For new posts, from the add caption page, just turn on the toggle switch to add your fundraiser to the post, so your followers can easily donate.
For stories, use the ‘Donation’ sticker and select your fundraiser.
When you’re getting ready to go Live, simply click ‘Fundraiser’ and select your fundraiser.
To find and edit your fundraiser, go to your Profile page.
You can edit the name of your fundraiser, cover photo, description, goal amount, and currency at any time. You can also extend your fundraiser by 30 days or end the fundraiser early if you need to.
Now you’re ready to create a fundraiser of your own!
