Are you in education and living with a Premenstrual Disorder (PMDD and/or PME)? Then this event is for you!
Join members of the IAPMD Youth Advisory Board as we launch a new resource on the IAPMD website - specifically for younger people living with PMDD and/or PME.
When discussions first started with the Youth Advisory Board on what they wanted to focus on - education and being in school while living with a Premenstrual Disorder was top of their list. Many of them had found it (and still find it!) a challenging time and wanted some resources and information to help them through this important time in their lives. Top of the list was a print-out to show to school staff and educators to explain PMDD and how it can affect their studies.
What will be covered:
* Launching the new section of the IAPMD website for young people
* A run-through of what is covered in the webpage - downloads, tips, and information!
* Ways of how to explain PMDD/PME to teachers/lecturers/staff etc
* A discussion between the YAB about their lived experiences
This event is free but you must register to save a spot and get the link to join:
This panel will last one hour and then we will be hopping over to Kumospace (an interactive platform) for a relaxed chat - join us!
