If you live with PMDD, you know first-hand that the menstrual cycle can have a huge impact on your moods, your thoughts, and your energy. But what if those effects aren’t all bad? And what if they’re not just happening in the premenstrual phase?
In this session, Brett Buchert, creator of the Me v PMDD app and a passionate advocate for menstrual health, will guide you through a process of growing your understanding and relationship with your menstrual cycle to build routines and self-care that support your cycle and your well-being.
You’ll learn:
How the menstrual cycle affects your physiology and psychology
The four phases of the menstrual cycle
The four inner seasons and two vias
How to build a relationship with your cycle through menstrual cycle awareness
Cycle-sensitive self-care strategies to support your cycle, your hormones, and your mental health
Brett experienced PMDD for 15 years and created the Me v PMDD Symptom Tracker app to help others reach a diagnosis and manage their symptoms. However, over time Brett realized that her cycle impacted her beyond just premenstrual symptoms and she found there were even joy and gifts to uncover in being cycle-sensitive. Brett found the practice of menstrual cycle awareness to be the missing piece in her own health journey and hopes to share this perspective and practice with others in the PMDD community.
The menstrual cycle doesn’t have to be the villain in your story anymore if you don’t want it to be…
