Design Competition - PMDD Awareness Month 2021

As part of PMDD Awareness Month 2021, we ran a design contest to find some amazing patient work to feature in the IAPMD shop. We asked for fun, fresh designs that highlight the strength and perseverance of our community. The winning design will be featured on IAPMD merchandise and sold in our online shop to help raise funds for PMDD awareness. It might be on stickers, t-shirts, mugs, hoodies… and perhaps even some random items too! 100% of the profits will go to support our mission and fund important work at IAPMD.

We received 50+ designs and had to narrow it down to just one winner - but with the help of our Patient Insight Panel and #PMDDpeeps on social media we finally decided…And the winner is…Ashleigh McGregor! See their beautiful design below:

“When I thought about the theme 'Many hands make light work' what instantly came to mind was how sharing how you are feeling and/or reaching out can help with the burden of mental illness. Especially within the PMDD community, as despite most people knowing what PMS is, many people aren't aware of PMDD and how debilitating it is. My design represents both reaching out and receiving help - no-one should have to suffer in silence. The teal background represents one of the colors of PMDD awareness” - Ashleigh McGregor

What do you think? Do you like it? We love it! You can now buy stickers and t-shirts of the winning design in our shop:
