One of the most powerful factors in managing PMDD can be love and support from partners and family members. But it’s not always an easy journey for loved ones, even despite best intentions.

Loved ones may not understand how the menstrual cycle can have such a striking effect on their person. They may not experience emotions in the same way leading to frequent confusion and frustration. They may also bear the brunt of intense PMDD episodes and bouts of rage.

There’s not much guidance and support for partners and caregivers in how to deal with such a complex condition…

Aaron Kinghorn fights to change this! With 15 years of experience living alongside PMDD and supporting his wife through her journey, and five years of providing direct peer support to hundreds of partners, Aaron just released his new book Hope: A Guide to PMDD for Partners & Caregivers

In this webinar, we sit down with Aaron to talk about his new book, his experiences as a husband of someone living with PMDD, lessons he’s learned through his own journey and supporting others.

If you’re a partner, caregiver, or parent of someone with PMDD, Aaron has so much wisdom to support you in your own support journey. And if you live with PMDD yourself, it can be invaluable to get a window into the perspective of partners to bring home to your own relationships.

“Where there is despair, there can be HOPE.”

Aaron is a dentist in the United Kingdom, member of the IAPMD Board of Directors, and spearheads support for partners of those living with PMDD and PME. He moderates the PMDD Partner Support group on Facebook and facilitates a monthly video support group for partners. Aaron is also part of a small research group that looks at PMDD and relationships. Above all, Aaron is a husband and a father to four young children.
