In this webinar, clinical psychologist Sharryn Muir will discuss her therapeutic approach to PMDD. She will review the benefits of adjunct therapy: distress tolerance and emotion regulation skills AND medical treatment to address the biological component.

After attending this webinar, participants will be able to understand:

1. The course of PMDD over the lifespan with emphasis on the need for increased support over perimenopause and menopause.

2. The role of distress tolerance and emotion regulation skills.

3. The benefits of partners attending a session where possible.

4. Benefits of Yoga Nidras and Mammalian Dive Reflex ( 2 skills).

5. Dealing with PMDD in the workplace.

Speaker: Sharryn Muir is a clinical psychologist out of a private practice in Melbourne, Australia. She specializes in PMDD and is also the developer of the PMDD Treatment App available on Android and Apple.
